The first step in any language. A1 establishes your vocabulary, pronunciation foundation, and confidence to speak in simple situations.

BSL established as a specialist English language school. From day one, the programme covered all four language skills plus the signature 12-week Personality Development course.
1985
BSL's foreign language portfolio expanded to cover 12 languages under the CEFR framework. French and German led the expansion; Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, and others followed.
2003
BSL Corporate Training established — delivering bespoke programmes to MNCs, BPOs, schools, and corporates. This remains one of BSL's strongest programme areas.
2005
IELTS, PTE, and OET preparation courses fully launched, alongside Study Abroad consulting, Canada PR coaching, and Australian Skilled Migration guidance.
